Do you offer lessons for brand-new shooters?
Yes! We welcome new shooters ages 8 and up. Our instruction is designed to be safe, supportive, and engaging. Whether you’re an adult picking up a firearm for the first time or a parent introducing a young shooter, we’ll help build confidence and foundational skills that last a lifetime.
What are the core fundamentals you teach?
Our training focuses on the essential elements of marksmanship and responsible gun handling, including:

Where are classes held?
We’re based in Union County, North Carolina, and train there and in the surrounding counties. We can train at both indoor and outdoor ranges depending on the course and location that is convenient to you.

Do you provide firearms and gear?
Yes, we have limited firearms and safety gear available for rent. Please request rental equipment at the time of registration or before your class by calling 704-989-3930.
Practical Concealed Carry Training
What is Practical Concealed Carry training?
This course teaches real-world skills and concepts for carrying a firearm for personal defense. Unlike state-mandated certification classes, this is hands-on training that focuses on:

Is this a certification class for a concealed carry permit?
No. This course does not provide state certification for a concealed handgun permit. It is focused on skill development for those who already carry or plan to carry and want to train beyond what’s required for a permit.

Red Dot Sights
I’ve never used a red dot. Is this training right for me?
Absolutely! Our Red Dot Sight course is designed for both beginners and intermediate shooters. You’ll learn:

Proper presentation and draw with a red dot
Do I need to have a red dot on my gun to take this class?
Yes, this course is designed specifically for pistols equipped with red dot sights. If you don’t have one, we offer rentals or can advise on affordable optics before the course. Let us know if you need a firearm with a red dot in advance.
Beyond the Fundamentals
What is going “Beyond the Fundamentals”?
This class is for shooters who already understand basic safety and marksmanship but want to enhance real-world skills. You’ll work on:

Legal & Safety
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We require 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a rebooking fee.
Do I need to sign a waiver to participate in training?
Yes. All students must sign a liability waiver before participating in any live-fire training, private lesson, or class. This is a standard safety and legal requirement.
Can parents or guardians sign for minors?
Yes. A parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver on behalf of any participant under the age of 18. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or authorized adult during training.
Are your instructors certified?
Yes. All instructors are certified through NRA, USCCA, or recognized law enforcement/military training and bring years of real-world experience.
What safety protocols are in place?
Safety is our top priority. Every class begins with a safety briefing. We enforce strict range safety rules. If a participant is deemed unsafe in class, then they may be asked to leave and no refunds issued.
